8 Signs that Archangel Gabriel Is Visiting You

Archangel Gabriel, whose name means “God is my strength,” is one of the spiritual world’s most recognized and widely called upon Angels. In fact, Gabriel is one of only two Angels mentioned by name in the Bible, and is often considered the strongest and most powerful Angel among all the Archangels (next to Archangel Michael, of course).

Is Archangel Gabriel a “she”? A “he”? Technically speaking, Gabriel is neither. The Angels are, by definition, genderless (even though most religious texts describe them as men). Gender is an earthly human notion.

That said, many people feel feminine energies from this particular Archangel, and often refer to Gabriel as “she”.

Who is Archangel Gabriel?

Gabriel is the Archangel of communication and expression. She helps us find our voice and speak our truth. Having trouble communicating at work or with a friend or loved one? Signs Archangel Gabriel Is Near

1. Seeing white or copper lights

When Gabriel is nearby, you may sense a bright white or copper light. That’s because Gabriel's aura is a copper color. She is often depicted holding a copper trumpet which she uses to announce or reveal her messages.

For comparison, Archangel Michael is commonly associated with a burst of blue or purple light.

Gabriel’s energies reflect the white Angel light ray, which is why you may see white orbs or shimmering flashes of lights around you. Gabriel's white light is a symbol of her purity, and the purifying clarity she brings through her messages.

White also represents a fresh start or clean slate. And Archangel Gabriel helps you find just that. She dissolves any fear or worry about the next steps you should take in your life – so that you can begin anew.

2. A sudden solution to a problem

Dwelling on a problem? Has it been keeping you awake at night? Archangel Gabriel is the ultimate problem solver. In fact, she’ll show up in a blink with an out-of-the-box solution to what troubles you, leaving you with an overwhelming sense of relief and calm.

Archangel Gabriel works quickly, revealing a solution only when you’re most ready to accept and receive it.

These aha! moments often come after much meditating, introspection or praying – all of which indicate that you’re readily seeking a path of help and guidance.

And once that solution has presented itself, there’s no mistaking that it’s the path you're supposed to follow.

3. Seeing “Gabriels” everywhere

The guy at the checkout? His name is Gabriel. Your house? It’s located on Gabriel Avenue. Then you pass Gabriel’s Diner on your way to work.

If you’re encountering a bunch of Gabriels popping up in your life, that’s a strong sign that Archangel Gabriel is reaching out.

4. Trumpet-shaped everything

Archangel Gabriel is commonly depicted with a trumpet.

That means you may see trumpets or trumpet-shaped items “announcing” her presence in your life. Think trumpet-shaped flowers, trumpet-inspired prints on clothing, etc. Or perhaps you’ll hear more trumpet music.

5. Finding white feathers

Feathers are a favorite way for all Angels to show they’re near.

While Archangel Gabriel will send messages via different colored feathers, she has a special affinity for white feathers. As previously mentioned, her angel ray of light is white, so she feels a special kinship for white feathers.

It’s her way of stopping in and saying hello. And it’s a gentle reminder to keep faith and stay strong.

6. Anything associated with writing

Gabriel often works with writers, so seeing notebooks, pens, quill pens, etc. in meditation, dreams or real life is a sure sign that she’s around. She may be bringing creative inspiration your way.

Archangel Gabriel loves, loves, loves to send messages through dreams. She’s deeply connected to the moon, intuition and the divine feminine, so it’s only natural that she would make an appearance in the dream world, too.

She commonly pops up in dreams to provide guidance and insight into what’s going on in our life. You may even awaken from a dream with a sudden, unexpected solution to a problem you’re facing. Keep a notebook by your bed to capture any messages you receive while you sleep.
